HISTORY OF THE FOUNDER

Roland Batzli, born in São Paulo on 03/04/1954. Son of Philippe Georges Gustave André Batzli and Marie Louise Luciene Batzli both swiss citizens, arrived in Brazil as immigrants in 1948 after the Second World War in the seek of a better future, as Europe was ravaged by war.

In 1954, Mr. Philippe founded in São Paulo the Industry of Precision Tools Cervin, a pioneer company in South America in the manufacture of hard metal matrices for stamping bolts and dies for the drawing of metals.

Roland Batzli, industrial technician, started its activities in Cervin Industry in 1968 as an metallurgical apprentice. Already as a designer draftsman he passed by companies such as Villares, Mercedez Benz and Thyssen Huller. In 1983, he founded his first company Durandal and later the Alpen Ferramentaria.
